Versioning
The software version is expressed as three numbers - for example, 1.3.940.
This means that the major version of the program is 1, the minor version of the program is 3, and the build
number is 940. Additions and modfications change the version number as follows:
- Adding bug fixes, minor changes, and minor features increments the build number.
- Adding a few major features or any non-cosmetic functionality increments the minor version number
- Adding a number of significant major features or modifying core functionality increments the major version number.

Purchasing a licence to software below also grants you the ability to receive free build upgrades and bug fixes
for the version you have licenced. That is, you are eligible to download a free update as long as the major and minor versions do not change. When they do, existing customers are eligible for a special upgrade rate.
